This is just going to be a quick update, firstly to apologise for not posting regularly lately (curse you, real life, for interfering with my leisure time!) and secondly to announce the Big News...:
Online ordering is here!
And so is My Digital Studio!
Two big new things in one day! Wow!
Firstly, Online Ordering ... this is going to take a little while to sink into my brain, I think.
Here's what you need to know...
You can shop online through my Demonstrator Business Web Site (DBWS) at chrismclucas.stampinup.net - click the Shop Now button in the bottom right hand corner, or under the Products Tab and you will automatically be taken to my storefront at the Stampin' Up! website. From there you can create your account and start shopping.
If you shop this way, you will pay the best price possible for your goodies (ie. the catalogue price).
You can also shop direct through the Stampin' Up! website (click on the STORE button), where you will be asked if you wish to nominate a demonstrator contact - if you choose "yes" you will be directed to the Demonstrator Locator to choose your demonstrator (hopefully it's me, so I can help you with future purchases *g*).
If you choose "no" you can still shop online - no one is going to stop you! But I'm afraid you will be charged a "premium" price for this (around an extra 11% on top of the catalogue price), and you will not be eligible for Stampin' Rewards (the online version of Hostess Benefits).
Online orders placed with a demonstrator contact (either directly through the DBWS or by selecting a demonstrator from the Locator) will attract all the benefits of your usual orders - ie. you will receive Stampin' Rewards for purchases over $300, and any promotions running at the time of ordering will be available.
So check out my DWBS today, and start shopping from the comfort of your own home!
As always, feel free to email me if you have any questions
Secondly, My Digital Studio ... I've been waiting for this one!
Are you a digital scrapper? Some people (myself included) prefer to "digiscrap" - I'm not sure why, but I suspect it has a lot to do with my love of stuffing around with computer graphics, something I have been doing for a very long time. It's crafty, but it's not quite as messy and doesn't take up nearly as much space.
You may have noticed that there are MDS content CDs available through the 2012-13 Annual Catalogue as well as the Seasonal Catalogue. You can buy these disks and use the content with your preferred graphics editting program (there are a few freebies out there), which is fine - but you can now also buy the My Digital Studio software to use them with!
Now bear in mind that I have yet to use the actual software - you'll have to give me time, it only became available for purchase today :-) - but I will be downloading the FREE 30 day trial to check it out as soon as I can. I have heard reports that it's super-easy to use and you can start creating your own scrapbook pages, cards and so on pretty much straight away. There is also a lot of digital content available for purchase and use within MDS, so check it out today - try the free trial and, if you think it's for you, purchase it through my DBWS for only $24.95 ($27.72 regular price).
